Let’s Read a Red Streak

I came across this blog post from Shelf Awareness today, and I absolutely plan to take the challenge posed by Love of Reading Week in Oconomowoc, Wis.

“The reading streak” movement challenges parents to read to their children for at least 10 minutes a day for 100 days in a row. It was inspired by Alice Ozma‘s book The Reading Promise: My Father and the Books We Shared and culminates with a celebratory pancake breakfast.

It’ll be great for the blog too! We’ll start reading tonight, so tune in tomorrow for my first of the 100 days’ reviews!
