Count those piggies

For our second night of the Great Reading Streak – yes, now it’s all capitalized – Max and I settled down to read “Ten Little Fingers and Ten Little Toes” by Mem Fox, with illustration by Helen Oxenbury. Max was immediately taken with the hardcover that actually felt squishy soft. He kept trying to shut the book so he could squeeze the front and back, which feature Oxenbury’s cute little baby characters. Continue reading

One of the lessons of the board book is that taking baths can be fun. Four characters open the story, Patches the giraffe and Lulla the bunny watching Witzy the duck and Boof the bear playing in the rain and mud.
